National American University moving into ABQ, bringing jobs

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Last week, National American University announced plans to move into Downtown Albuquerque and hire up to 50 employees immediately. The publicly-traded company expects to hire up to 300 within three years.

The postsecondary school caters to working adults and other non-traditional students, offering business-related degrees at the associate, bachelor and master level.

NAU is a for-profit college based in South Dakota with nearly 40 locations throughout the Southwest. Albuquerque is currently home to two locations – one which opened in 1975 and is located at 4775 Indian School Road NE, and another located in the Alameda West Shopping Center.
