Lavu will double company size with $15M investment

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Lavu raised $15 million in funds from Washington, D.C.-based Aldrich Capital Partners and plans to double its size, hiring around 40 people. The additional employees will bring the Lavu count to more than 80 employees as a result of the investment.

The Albuquerque-based company will expand and add Lavu offices on both coasts while also planning to grow its call center in New Mexico. The local call center fields questions about the Lavu iPad point-of-sale software.

The company is working on a Series B round of funding to follow this Series A round, and plans to work toward an IPO in the future.
