ABQid 2015 accelerator class companies announced

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Fourteen companies were selected for this year’s business accelerator class, and the company names were released last week by ABQid. The diverse group includes companies in the fields of technology, farming and play. Half of the companies selected are run by female CEOs and two husband and wife teams round out the field.

Each company receives a stipend of $20,000 for 6 percent equity and receives advice and support to jumpstart their businesses.

BounceChat – app featuring hyper-local file sharing and social media aspects

Close Threads – local boutique “omni-channel”

EquiSeq – horse breeding genetics

ExploreMedia – VR video platform

iTherapyDocs – health care billing solutions

mPower – Sandia National Labs commercialization of flexible solar cell technology

OAC Gallery – online curated art

Pressure Analysis Co – athlete pressure measurement sensor development

SheSpire – professional women social network

Tall Foods – ostrich farm model innovation and development

Teeniors – parental tech training

Transparent Sky – virtual drone creation

TwistResist – Creation of rehabilitation equipment
